Privacy Policy

This policy explains how we handle personal data when you visit wpaira.com (this marketing site), contact support, or use the AIRA application at app.wpaira.com. We are the data controller for the purposes of UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

1. Who we are

AIRA provides AI-assisted content migration tools for WordPress agencies. For privacy enquiries, email support@wpaira.com.

2. Data we collect

Marketing website

  • Usage & analytics — pages visited, referrer, device/browser type, and approximate location derived from IP. We use Google Tag Manager (container GTM-NGZ7WHX5), which may set cookies or similar technologies depending on tags you configure in GTM.
  • Support messages — if you email us or use the support form, we receive your name, email address, message content, and any optional details you provide (for example your app sign-in email).

AIRA application

  • Account data — email address, authentication identifiers, and account settings.
  • Billing data — subscription status, credit balance, and payment history. Card details are processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
  • Migration data — ACF JSON exports you upload, mapping specs, source URLs you submit for crawling, crawl logs, generated bundles, and related project metadata. This may include content from third-party websites you ask us to crawl.
  • Technical logs — IP address, timestamps, error reports, and operational data needed to run and secure the service.

3. How we use your data

We use personal data to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve AIRA (including AI-assisted mapping and classification).
  • Process payments, manage credits, and handle billing enquiries.
  • Respond to support requests and communicate service updates.
  • Monitor performance, prevent abuse, and maintain security.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

Our lawful bases under UK GDPR typically include contract (delivering the service you signed up for), legitimate interests (analytics, security, product improvement), and consent where required (for example non-essential cookies, if enabled via your cookie banner or GTM configuration).

4. AI processing

AIRA uses artificial intelligence to analyse crawled web pages and map content to your ACF blocks. Content you submit (including page HTML, text, and structure derived from URLs you provide) may be processed by automated systems and third-party AI infrastructure on our behalf, solely to deliver the migration service.

AI output can be incorrect. We do not use your migration content to train public models unless we tell you otherwise and you opt in. Retention of migration data is described below.

5. Sharing & processors

We share data only where needed to run AIRA, for example with:

  • Stripe — payment processing.
  • Hosting & infrastructure providers — application hosting, storage, and email delivery.
  • Analytics providers — via Google Tag Manager, according to your tag configuration.
  • AI / API providers — to perform classification and mapping you request.

Processors are bound by contracts requiring appropriate security and confidentiality. We do not sell your personal data.

6. International transfers

Some providers may process data outside the UK. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as UK adequacy regulations, standard contractual clauses, or equivalent mechanisms) as required by law.

7. Retention

  • Account and billing records — kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for tax, dispute, and legal purposes.
  • Migration projects & bundles — retained so you can re-download and manage work; you may delete projects in the app where that feature is available.
  • Support correspondence — typically up to 24 months unless a longer period is needed for an open issue.
  • Analytics data — retained according to your analytics tool settings (configured in GTM / GA4).

8. Security

We use technical and organisational measures appropriate to the data we hold — including encryption in transit, access controls, and monitoring. No online service is completely secure; please use a strong password and keep your account credentials confidential.

9. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you may have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to certain processing, and to data portability where applicable. You may also withdraw consent at any time where processing is consent-based, and lodge a complaint with the ICO (ico.org.uk).

To exercise your rights, email support@wpaira.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

10. Cookies

This site uses Google Tag Manager, which may load analytics or advertising tags that set cookies. You can control non-essential cookies through your browser settings and any consent banner you configure in GTM. Essential cookies required for security or core functionality may still be used.

The AIRA app may use session cookies to keep you signed in.

11. Children

AIRA is a business tool for agencies and developers. It is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

12. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Material changes may also be notified by email or in-app notice where appropriate.
